it was...voluntary. :) i like cutting this off so that the texture "overflows" the edges of an image.

ohh yeah that's nice !
but I actually meant compression that diminished the quality of the image... like you can see the circular pattern on the side wall of the building in the center, I'm pretty sure it's not there on the raw file :P

the original is not a raw file actually, just a jpg. so, kinda meh on the quality to begin with.
